Acanthus'un  Anlamı  

Acanthus, antik çağlardan beri sanatın ve mimarinin simgesi olan bir bitkidir.

Dayanıklılığıyla bilinir.

Kök saldığı yerde kalıcıdır.

Zamanın aşındırmasına karşı formunu korur.

Bizim için Acanthus, yalnızca bir isim değildir.

Sanatta niyetin,

malzemede dürüstlüğün

ve süreçte sorumluluğun simgesidir.

Geçici olanın değil,

arkasında durulabilenin adıdır.

Yani hikâyemizin.

Bir  Eksikten  Doğan  Hikâye

Ve bu hikâye,

bir gün durup

“Bir şey eksik…”

diye hissedenlerle başladı.

Eksik olan, yalnızca bir boya ya da bir fırça değildi.

Eksik olan, anlaşıldığını hissetmekti.

Soruların vardı.

Kararlarının arkasında durmak istiyordun.

Yaptığın işin, yıllar sonra bile

arkasında durabilmeyi önemsiyordun.

Ve yine de devam ettin.

Çünkü içindeki şey,

vazgeçmene izin vermedi.

Acanthus, işte tam bu ihtiyaçtan doğdu.

Sessizce.

Gösterişsizce.

Kimseye yukarıdan bakmadan.

Sana bakarak değil.

Seninle birlikte.

Duruşumuz  ve  Bugün  Acanthus

Biz, malzemeye hiçbir zaman yalnızca bir araç olarak bakmadık.

Çünkü biliyorduk ki sanatçı için de öyle değildir.

Malzeme bazen bir hafızadır.

Bazen saatlerce verilen emeğin sessiz tanığıdır.

Bazen zamana bırakılan bir izdir.

Ve her zaman, bir sorumluluktur.

Bir fırça yalnızca boya sürmez.

Bir pigment yalnızca renk vermez.

Bir yüzey yalnızca zemin değildir.

Her biri, sanatçının ilhamına eşlik eder.

Her biri, niyet taşır.

Bu yüzden biz “Doğru Malzeme – Doğru Sonuç” derken,

yalnızca teknik bir doğruluktan söz etmeyiz.

Biz bir duruştan söz ederiz.

Bizim için doğru malzeme,

sanatçının niyetini bozmadan taşıyandır.

Zamanın etkisiyle sınandığında bile tutarlılığını koruyandır.

Yıllar sonra bile eserin arkasında durabilmeni sağlayandır.

Ve doğru sonuç,

yalnızca görünen değil,

yıllar sonra da sahip çıkılabilendir.

Bu yüzden biz,

fiyattan önce güveni konuşuruz.

Gürültüden önce sessizliği.

Gösterişten önce duruşu.

Çünkü gerçek kalite bağırmaz.

Kendini hissettirir.

Acanthus, sanatçının kapısını çaldığı bir yer değildir.

Burası, içeri girip nefes alabildiğin bir alandır.

Bazen bir ev gibi.

Bazen bir atölye gibi.

Bazen kimseye bir şey anlatmadan,

sessizce “devam et” diyen bir dost gibi.

Bu hikâye tamamlanmış değil.

Bugünle sınırlı değil.

Yarınla da bitmiyor.

Asıl devamını yazacak olan sensin.

Attığın her fırça darbesinde,

verdiğin her kararda,

arkasında durduğun her işte…

The Meaning of Acanthus

Acanthus is a plant that has symbolized art and architecture since ancient times.

It is known for its resilience.

Where it takes root, it endures.

It preserves its form against the erosion of time.

For us, Acanthus is not merely a name.

It is the symbol of intention in art,

honesty in material,

and responsibility in process.

It is not the name of what is temporary,

but of what can be firmly stood behind.

In other words, it is the name of our story.

And this story began

and felt,

“Something is missing…”

What was missing was not merely a paint or a brush.

What was missing was the feeling of being understood.

You wanted to stand behind your decisions.
